What can you do to help?

Public input to elected officals regarding the J-W parking garage project will help steer this project to the trash heap, but your officials need to hear from you! Use this web page to take steps to have this project removed from DVRPC's Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), and redirect funding to responsible projects.
Listed below are just some of the small steps you can take as a citizen to help push this project forwar rd:

  • Use this page to write to the region's elected officials, DVRPC staff and SEPTA
  • Join PA-TEC at monthly meetings to discuss ideas and events
  • Attend your local township meetings--Be the local advocate for the Newtown line within your municipality
  • Join the DVRPC Regional Citizen's Committee
  • Attend SEPTA Board Meetings
  • Write op-ed pieces to your local paper
  • Talk to your neighbors about what more parking at Jenkintown will mean for residents in your area that use SEPTA
